Light winds on the first day then testing conditions for the rest of the weekend lead to a close contest resulting in Alan and Liz being crowned new National Champions
Blistering weather and variable winds made for a good weekends racing marred only by the knobling of one of the strong contenders when Ian Marshall ended up with a broken ankle. 13 boats made the event including Sylvie and Camille from France. The regatta was won by Alan Williams and Liz Crouch
Blue Circle celebrated it's 50th Anniversary with a good weekends well supported racing. All enjoyed the food and Company and the event was won by Alan Williams and Liz Crouch
4 UK boats braved the frozen wastes of France over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Lead UK boat was Alan Williams / Liz Crouch and the event was won by Giovanni Gallioti
This years dinghy show was a success with lots of people visiting the stand over the weekend of the 4th / 5th March, and plenty of support. However the cost to exhibit was extortionate so the future may well be in doubt.

The Hoo Freezer lived up to it's name on the 29th January when Richard Lambert and Brian Gregory braved the rigours of the Medway on a bright but cold winters day
The second week of November brought the last event of the year in Antwerp. 2 UK boats Liz Crouch and Richard Pike and Sue Roberts and Ian Gregory took to the water for a 2 day event preceded by the Wursterace!
